To Whom It May Concern, 

My name is Dr. Shauntae Davis EdD, and I am the founder of Gurlz Got Goalz. Gurlz Got Goalz is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization established in Chicago. Below is an outline of our program. 

Purpose: Gurlz Got Goalz creates opportunities of growth, stability and impact for young girls and teens within communities where access to mentors and resources are limited. 

Mission: Gurlz Got Goalz empowers and prepares every young girl and teen within the communities where access to mentors and resources are limited and provides them with the necessary tools to be successful in all areas of life. 

Vision: Gurlz Got Goalz will be a sisterhood that is recognized for its strong development of women leaders and independent innovators. 

Our organization was founded on the core principles and values of: sisterhood, service, individuality, empowerment, integrity and service. We believe that all of these values are intricate pieces that young women need to be successful assets to society. 

Young ladies in our program are given the opportunity to benefit from the following: financial literacy, resume-writing, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, leadership development and training, mentoring, public speaking, communication, etiquette, social skills, service, team-building, and preparation for life. 

Our organization is looking to expand in a variety of ways. We are looking for opportunities to expose our young ladies to more opportunities, expand on the capacity of young ladies we are able to allow to join our organization, as well as provide our young ladies to attend schools of their choice by offering assistance in the form of scholarships. 

We are graciously asking for donations/sponsorships in the forms of:  

• Field trips 

• Monetary scholarship contributions 

• Service Projects 

• Mentors/workshop hosts 

• Apparel (for branding purposes) 

• Hygiene products 

• Office supplies (journals/portfolios, etc)

• Adoptees (to adopt/partner with a GGG member)
